Who we are
BRUC is one of the largest and most dynamic renewable energy groups in Spain. Founded by the entrepreneur Juan Béjar, the shareholder is composed of OPTrust, USS and Interogo Holding. Luis Venero is the company’s CEO.
BRUC believes that an energy transition to a decarbonized economy is urgently required. Part of this transition rests on the development of clean energies, whose contribution to countries’ energy systems must be growing. BRUC’s mission is to generate attractive investment opportunities in the field of renewable energies and to manage assets with the objective of contributing to the sustainability of energy supply systems and substantially reducing their environmental impact.

- USS, the UK's largest pension fund, becomes a shareholder of BRUC

- BRUC has a portfolio of more than 6 GW of photovoltaic and wind power plants in Spain.
- BRUC closes 2022 with 300 MW of photovoltaic power in operation in Spain

- Interogo becomes BRUC's third international investor
- Project Finance International (PFI) awards BRUC for corporate financing
- BRUC closes the year with more than 1 GW in operation in Spain

- BRUC reinforces its commitment to sustainability by joining the United Nations Global Compact
- BRUC connects its first hybrid batteries with solar energy in Extremadura
- BRUC expands its portfolio with battery and wind energy hybridizations
- The Group has 1,538 MW in operation in Spain and 70 MW in Japan.
BRUC currently has a renewable portfolio in Spain comprising photovoltaic, wind and battery assets totalling 9,100 MW of projects in operation, construction and development, of which 1,538 MW are already in operation.
The financing for the construction and start-up of the asset portfolio is secured through various agreements with leading national and international financial institutions.

Bruc gestiona activos de energía solar fotovoltaica y eólica en desarrollo, construcción y operación tanto en España como en Japón, con más de 8.646MW y 80MW, respectivamente.

Bruc actualmente tiene inversiones en España y Japón, y cuenta con un plan de negocio que le permite invertir en países OCDE. Fuera de la OCDE, Bruc puede invertir selectivamente en otros países de Europa, América Central y Amércia del Sur.
